We can’t believe the Fylde Coast £50 Challenge is nearly over!
We’ve seen so many amazing ways that our local businesses have made their £50 into incredible sums of money, and we’re looking forward to celebrating their successes at our special £50 Challenge lunch later in the year.
But it’s not over yet! There is still time for our £50 Challengers to get some more money in before it all ends on 31st August.
Can you fit in one last raffle? Perhaps there’s one last cake sale to be had. Or can your team hold a dress-down day?
Every single pound you bring in as part of your £50 Challenge will allow us to continue our outstanding work in palliative care.
We can use the money your raise to pay for several days or even weeks in our Day Therapy Unit, giving people who are living with a non-curable illness some complimentary therapies, access to vital information and support and the chance to build lasting friendships with others on the same journey.
Or your money could pay for someone to stay on our In-patient Unit, where they will receive our specialist support whether they are staying for respite care, or if they have chosen to spend their last days with us. It may even be used to allow someone access to our counselling service at the Linden Centre, helping them cope with a life-limiting condition or helping their family deal with bereavement.
If you have chosen to support our specialist children’s hospice, Brian House, your money will allow us to care for our truly amazing children, making memories with them which will mean so much to their families.
You’ve already done so much, and we’ve been so impressed with the many varied ways in which you are supporting us – from sponsored fitness events, football tournaments and a fishing competitions, to pamper days, afternoon teas and a gin festival!
You are all incredible!

Our celebratory lunch will be held at The Village Hotel on Friday 26th October.
Will you be the company to have raised the most? We can’t wait to find out.
