Trinity has always had foundations in learning, development and research. We have fantastic links with local universities and we regularly provide graduate and postgraduate training for health and social care professionals. We love sharing our specialist knowledge with groups in the community and in the hospital.
In partnership with the Acute Trust and with the Clinical Commissioning Groups, our medical and clinical teams ensure that end of life care is seen as a priority for all staff and managers and have been active in rolling out training and information events focusing on how this care should be delivered with dignity and compassion.
Trinity is a teaching hospice, we welcome clinicians and students alongside Elective Placements for a range of students. We also provide learning placements for medical, nursing and specialist trainees. We are involved in projects with local and national research networks, all with the aim of benefiting our patients directly.
We’re always learning (and teaching)
We are committed to providing the best possible development for all staff and volunteers who are encouraged to develop as their career progresses with us. We have an extensive programme of in-house teaching for both clinical and non-clinical staff.
You can hire our facilities
