Learning & Research
Our family of services has always had foundations in learning, development and research. We have fantastic links with local universities and we regularly provide graduate and postgraduate training for health care and social care professionals. We love sharing our specialist knowledge with many groups in the community and in the hospital.
We’re always learning (and teaching)
We are committed to providing the best possible development for all at the Hospice, including staff and volunteers who are encouraged to develop as their career progresses with us. We have an extensive programme of in house teaching for both clinical and non clinical staff.
Trinity is a teaching hospice, and we welcome clinicians and students alike on placements alongside Elective Placements for a range of students. We also provide learning placements for medical, nursing and specialist trainees. We are involved in projects with local and national research networks, all with the aim of benefiting our patients directly.
Do you need our facilities?
We regularly open our doors for regional and local conferences, we offer a friendly welcome and flexible approach to all events. Many businesses, organisations and groups from both the public and private sector have enjoyed conferences in our centre.
We have an excellent fully equipped conference suite with disabled access. Seating is flexible and is arranged to suit your event. We have ample free parking with CCTV. We can provide in house catering and have various menus available which include catering for special diets.
