It was fun, it was foamy and there were some aching limbs on Monday morning, but the first ever Trinity Hospice ‘We’re a Knockout’ was a winner.
Held in Stanley Park, the event attracted teams from Westinghouse, Chadwicks Insurance, Cleveleys Taekwondo, ECN Bodyworks and Yorkshire Bank, as well as a team from Trinity Hospice and one from Trinity’s shops.
After a range of challenging games, from giant sack races to collecting fish and dressing as a penguin, it was the highly competitive Westinghouse team who emerged victorious.
Organiser Julie Swift said: “It was a lot of fun and we did an awful lot of laughing. A big thank you to the teams who helped make the day such a success. “
